Today is the day we call Easter. A day we celebrate that our Risen Savior. For some of us, today we woke up experiencing Satan’s attacks from the start of the day with an early morning power and water outage. It’s hard to feel like worshipping when you feel grimy and dirty. It’s hard to worship when you barely grasp the language. Yet what we learned today is it’s not about me; it’s not putting on our Easter-best. JESUS IS WORTHY TO BE PRAISED! Period.
Today was special since we were able to witness the baptism of Sovanny and his wife, Phea, at the Toul Sangke service. Sovanny started off as a driver for our team but now is a vital part of our team. He came to know Christ through witnessing the ministry activities as he drove team members around. Now he is being discipled by a team member and often the one to witness to others. We are thankful that through Sovanny and the different member of our team, his wife and sister have also become believers. Although his mother is not a believer and wary of this foreign religion, she sees how he has changed. We are thankful she came today. Please pray for parents of Sovanny and Phea who do not know the Lord.
